LATE SPORTING.
NO NEW ZEALAND ENTRIES. AUTUMN RACES AT RANDWIQK. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Rec. 12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. For the first time in many years no entries have been received from New Zealand for the autumn races at Randwick. The sporting writer of the “Sydney Morning Herald” says: “As there are good horses in New Zealand it is evident that owners have accepted the position that transport will be difficult to arrange.” Entries for the Doncaster this year are only 86, compared with 100 last year, and 78 for the Sydney Cup, compared with 90 last year.
