According to Berlin correspondents of Swedish newspapers, after announcements of the death of Marshal von Reichenau and the operation on »Matshal von Brauchitsch, a new line of propaganda appeared tor the benefit oi the Germans. It is now stated that ati the changes in the German command have been due to genuine illness find not to differences of opinion. Announcements of the sickness of still more generals may he expected as the higher officer's have to share with the troops all the hardships of tlio Russian campaign, which advancing age naturally makes them less able to resist. Berlin authorities stated that the sufferings and hardships on the eastern front caused illness among many commanders, one of whom has had pneumonia but now will return to service, while another is suffering from the same heart trouble as Marshal von Brauchitsch.
