FALL OF MOZHAISK
CAPTURE BY THE RUSSIANS. WESTWARD DRIVE CONTINUED. 16 ENEMY PLANES DESTROYED. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Roe. 10.35 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 20. The capture of Mozhaisk is announced in the following Moscow statement: “Our troops to-day continued to drive the German and Fascist troops to the west, inflicting heavy losses upon them. Our units captured Mozhaisk. Prisoners were taken. Yesterday 16 German aircraft were destroyed. Our losses were five.”
