CONVOY ATTACKED.
TWO SHIPS RECEIVE HITS. LONDON, October 19. An enemy convoy was attacked b.\ torpedo-carrying "aircraft m the ontral Mediterranean early yesterday morning, reports a Royal Air *o\ce communique from the Middle Las night. Hits were scored on two ships of 5000 and 0000 tons, and it is believed that another vessel of 4000 ton. was also hit. On Saturday night a raid was carried out on Sardinia, and hits were scored on hangars and aircraft.
