PLUNKET SOCIETY.

LECTURE AT EIEFELTON. Miss Hungerford {district health nurse) gave an address on “School Child Diet” to an appreciative audience at a meeting held in the the Eiffel ton School under the auspices of the Eiffelton Sub- Branch Plunkot Society. Mrs H. White (President) presided and visitors were present from the surrounding districts, ineluding Nurses Poff and Sampson, of Ashburton. Three new members were enrolled.

The bring and buy sales table under the supervision of Mrs Cocks and Miss J-aine, did good business. Supper was served at the conclusion of the meeting, Mrs Claude Anderson and Mrs Cameron being hostesses. Mrs Cocks moved a vote of thanks to Miss Hungerford for her instructive address.
