JUNIOR GRADE. A comfortable win on the first innings was obtained by High School in their match with Tinwald. Tinwakl were all out for 51 in their first strike. To this High School replied with 146 (A. Lewis not out 81, R. Purcell 18). A considerable improvement was shown by Tinwald in their second strike which produced 144 (R. Pearce 82). School had five wjckets down for 88 runs at the call of time. The best bowlers for Tinwald were W. Thomas three foi 19 and TV. Merrin five for 20, while for School 1. Hay took four for none and three for 80, and A. Green three for 10.

By 210 runs to 140, Lauriston defeated Fairfield at Fairton. Mackie with 109 runs (retired) and J.
