TWO MEN BELIEVED KILLED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 19. The following air casualties have been announced: — Sergeant Pine Tenga Takarangi, R.N.Z.A.F., missing, believed killed. Mother, Mrs R. Takarangi, Putiki, Wanganui. Sergeant Charles Frederick Dare, previously reported missing, believed prisoner of war, now reported prisoner of war. Mother, Mrs E. Dare, 18 Rotomahana Terrace, Remuera, Auckland. Pilot Officer John Frederick Knight, R.N.Z.A.F., previously reported missing, believed prisoner of war, now confirmed prisoner of war. Father, Mr F. Knight, Awhitu, Auckland. Sergeant Frederick Alphonsus Baty, R.N.Z.A.F., reported missing, believed killed. Mother. Mrs E. Baty, 218 Gala Street, Invercargill. Sergeant Ivor John McLachlan, R.N.Z.A.F., slightly injured as the result of air operations, admitted to hospital suffering from wound in right thigh. Father, Mr John McLachlan, Cornwall Street, Masterton.
