NEW ZEALAND RESIDENT’S GIFT. (Roe. 1.30) LONDON, August, G. The High Commissioner for Now Zealand (Air W. J. Jordan) lias presented the Lord Alavorwith a mobile canteen for the air. distress fund. The canteen, which is the gift of Mr T. L. Coles, a sheopf.armor, of Tauwhare, in the Auckland Province, has been allocated to Stoke Newington, which lias been badly bombed. Air Coles, who is a former Londoner, went to New Zealand in 192£).
