SAVAGE CLUB.
THE SIXTH KORERO A bright programme was presented at the sixtli korero of the Ashburton Savage Club, held: in the Catholic Club rooms last evening. Ex-Great 'Chief O. G. Vial presided over a large attendance, including an unusually large number of visitors. Songs were sung by Messrs A. T. Zeigler and I. Street, and a sketch was also given. A clever talk on “Dragons and Tuataras” was given by Mr Zeigler. The orchestra, under Musical Director EL R. Hopwood, contributed tuneful selections. A hearty welcome w r as extended to Savage G. de C. Drury who took Ins place at the piano again after his recent indisposition. Arrangements for the raid on the Timaru Club to-morrow evening were put in hand.
