COMPULSORY SERVICE.
ALLIED NATIONALS IN BRITAIN. LEGISLATION INTENDED. (Rec. 9.50 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 5. The Lord Privy Seal (Mr C. R. Attlee) stated in the House of Commons that it was hoped to submit to the House on the reassembly after the recess, proposals for legislation extending _ military conscription to allied nationals whose governments are established in this country.—British Official Wireless.
