PESSIMISTIC VIEW IN JAPAN. RELATIONS WITH AMERICA OPINIONS OF NEWSPAPERS

The United Press correspondent at Tokio reports that the newspapers adopted a, very pessimistic view of Japanese-American relations to-day. The “Asahi” said: “There is no room for readjustment because America’s attitude is increasingly hostile. Through the self-conceit of the United States the waves of the Pacific are rising higher. -We are resolved to meet the worst.” JAPANESE TROOPS AT DARIEN REINFORCEMENTS ARRIVING
(Rec. 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, Aug. 4. The. correspondent of the. Associated Press of America says that Japanese troops continue to arrive at Darien. The news contingents include numerous cavalry units, which arc believed to have been sent directly from Japan. There bay© been no withdrawals from the China, fronts recently.
