The Randwick races were noteworthy to-day owing to the fact, that three consecutive winners were sired by Beau Pere, namely Justitia, winner of the Tellers’ Handicap for three-year-old fillies, Beau; Son, winner of the Tellers’ Handicap for three-year-old colts and geldings, and Grand Fils, winner of the Farm Encourage Handicap, in which the Iliad gelding patrician was placed third. Bean Son distinguished himself by beating Yaralla, who was third.
