SERVICE RECOGNISED.
PRESENTATION AT LAURISTON Mr and Mrs C. A. Fyfe were recently entertained at the Lauriston School house to mark Mr Fyfe’s retirement from the Lauriston School Committee, of which he was chairman for 10 years and a member for 13 years. After referring to their outstanding services to the school, Mr T. R. Greenaway presented Mr and Mrs Fyfe with a crystal rosebowl. Messrs E. G. Hayward, J. G. Marshall and J. A. Mackie also spoke.
