NEW SHIPYARDS.
PROPOSAL IN AUSTRALIA. AGREEMENT IN SICHT. (Roc. 1.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Ail agreement between the State and Federal Governments to establish new permanent shipbuilding yards is txpected to be reached next week. It is understood that the plan to reopen Walsh Island has been abandoned and a new site has been chosen. The proposed site is considered to bo large enough for three slipways to hoid 10,000-ton vessels.
