LODGE MEETING.
WAKANUI GOOD TEMPLARS. There was a good attendance at the fortnightly meeting- of the Wakanui Lodge, 1.0.G.T., over which the O.T. (Sister E. Begg) presided. A motion of sympathy with Bros. J. and H. Sinclair in their recent bereavement was carried in silence. One candidate was proposed and initiated. It being Sisters’ Night, the following programme was presented Musical items, Sisters N. Ford, I. Bennett, and M. and R.. Rickard; competitions, Sisters Wilson, A. Blair and A. Bonnington. Bro. N. Butterick proposed a vote of thanks to the sisters for the excellent programme. Supper was served.
