Misses Thompson and Miriel Woods of the Institute for Adult Physical Education, conferred with 1 the committee, and there were also present a number of young women interested in physical training who will probably take rip a course as instructors. Representatives of women’s organisations in the town were also in attendance. The meeting discussed arrangements for courses to be taken by women and girls who join the Auxiliary, and it was decided that the room above the Public Library reading room be opened to-morrow for the registration of women.

It was stated that the Auxiliary will offer to its members courses in canteen work, cycling, signalling, transport, home gardening, sewing and knitting.
