INFANT’S DEATH.
FOUND LYING IN COT. An infant boy, aged 3 moirfths, was found dead in his cot at the Commercial Hotel at 10 o’clock this morning. An inquest and post-mortem examination is to lie hold to-morrow morning at the Ashburton Public Hospital. The child was John Patrick Hickey, son of Mr and Mrs M. I. Hickey, of Ashburton. Mrs Hickey found the child dead. The cause of death is not known at present.
