FRONTIER CLASH.
PERUVIAN ATTACK ON ECUADOR. PLANKS DESTROY BARRACKS. (United Press Association—Copyright 1 LONDON,' July 7. A message from Quilto says official sources allege that Peruvians on Sunday attacked the Ecuador towns of Chakran, Aguasverdes, Hmaquillas and Carcabon, on the frontier between Ecuador and Peru, using artillery and aviation.
The Ecuador Minister for Defence said the battle was continuing on the Ecuador side of the frontier. He asserted that Peruvian aeroplanes totally destroyed a military barracks at Chakras.
