THE ELECTORAL COMMITTEE. The Returning Officer announces that lie has received the following nominations as delegates to represent the North and Mid-Canterbury district on the Electoral Committee of the Meat Producers’ Board: —Messrs ID 1 . S. Anderson (Ataahua), R>. G. Gerard (Rakaia), E. 'Hay (Pigeon Bay), E. S. Taylor (Amber ley). (Three delegates required.) „ in the South Canterbury district Mr H. B. S. Johnstone (Gtaio) has been declared elected. ,
A postal ballot will be conducted in tiie districts whore the number of nominations exceeds the number of delegates required, namely, Auckland} West Cbast, North and Mid-Canter-bury, Otago and Southland. The ballot papers will be dispatched to each sheopownef owning not less than 100 sheep in those districts. The Electoral Committee elected from the above will assemble in Wellington on August 29 to consider the nineteenth annual report and statement of accounts of the Now Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, and to elect three producers’ representatives on the Board, for which the following have been nominated : Messrs H.
