FOOD FOR BRITAIN.
PLANS FOR DISTRIBUTION LONDON, May 20. As part of the preparations against the risk of invasion, the Ministry of Food has appointed in certain parts of Britain voluntary food organisers to look after local food supplies should tho communities in which they live bo isolated by the enemy. Such voluntary food organisers would bo responsible for conserving and fairly distributing food within their areas until communication with the permanent Ministry for Food organisation has been restore!. More than GOO volunteers have already been appointed and further appointments are being made as the scheme is extended.—British' Official Wireless.
