AIR FORCE BAND.
VISIT TO ASHBURTON. TO PARADE NEXT FRIDAY. Great interest is being aroused in the announcement that the Royal New Zealand Air Force Band will pay a visit to Ashburton next Friday morning and parade in East Street for half an hour. Tho Band has gained a- very high reputation for the quality of its playing and an authority stated the other day that its work was equal to that of any of the established army bands in Britain. Wherever the band lias appeared in the (Dominion it has proved to be a wonderful attraction. The band will arrive at 10 a.in. and will parade in East Street during the following half hour,, and in that time it is the intention of the Ashburton Patriotic Committee to take up a collection in aid of the Million Pounds All-Purposes Appeal.
