(Received This Day, 12.6 p.m.) LONDON, February 21/ To meet the demand of agriculture for additional labour the school holidays are to be fixed at short notice, if necessary, for periods when the need for seasonal agricultural work is greatest. # • The Government considers it essential that tlie fullest use he made of the assistance of children over 14 years Of age/ consistent with the maintenance of health arid the interests of education. The Board of Education suggests that parties of pupils /in secondary day and boarding schools be organised under proper supervision to visit local farms on certain days in the term in time to help with the planting and lifting of potatoes, —British Official Wireless.
