ASHBURTON FANCIERS’ VIEWS.
STANDARD SCHEDULE WANTED. A remit from the Ashburton Fanciers’ Society had been left OA r er at the annual conference of the South Island Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Association, and it had been decided to circularise all affiliated societies about it, stated Mr G. H. Nicoll, Avho represented the Ashburton Society at the conference, at a meeting last evening. Mr Nicoll presided.
The remit read: “That the Association print a standard schedule for all affiliated societies, and that all affiliated societies should pay a fee to the Association to be decided on.”
Mr Nicoll also reported that the date for the Ashburton Winter Slioav had been fixed for about the same time as last year.
