SHIPS ATTACKED.
FIVE IN ATLANTIC OCEAN.
SINKING OF ONE AT LEAST. (Received This Day, L4O p.m.) NEW YORK, December 2. The Mackay radio reports that messages have lieien picked up showing that aircraft and submarine /attacks have been made on five more ships, namely, the Yugoslav Cetvrti, bombed 51.30 degrees, 30 minutes north and 11 degrees 53 minutes west; S.S. Victor Ross, attacked by submarine, 56 degrees .04 minutes north and IS degrees 30 minutes west; Kilgerran Castle, bombed 25‘ miles south-west of Kinsale. Head; the Lochranza, with the shipwrecked crew of another vessel /aboard, torpedoed, sinking 54 degrees 37 minutes north, 18 degrees 54 minutes west; on© unknown ship also sent an SO S message from the same vicinity.
