PURSUIT OF ENEMY UNITS.
ISOMEI DAMAGE INFLICTED

An Admiralty communique states: “Early this morning contact was made between our light forces and those of the enemy in the English Channel. The enemy units retired at high speed toward Brest, pursued by our forces. It is known that one of our units sustained damage. A report has been received that damage was inflicted on the enemy, hut the effect of this is not yet known with sufficient certainty to enable an announcement to he made. Further details will be made known as soon as possible.” British' Official Wireless.
