SHIPS FOR BRITAIN.
CONSTRUCTION IN CANADA SOON EIGHTEEN LARGE FREIGHTERS. (Roceiv’ed This Day, 9.5 a.m.) OTTAWA, November 29.. The Director-General of Shipping (Mr D. B. CarsAA’oll) stated that Canadian shipyards are nAvaiting Avord to begin construction of eighteen 9500-ton freighters for Britain for delivery in October.
