SAVED BY A DOG.
MISTRESS PULLED TO SAFETY.
CAT PUTS SEARCHERS ON TRACK.
(Received This Day, 9.0 a.m.) LONDON, November 28
During the raid last night the persistent scratching of a cat among the debris in a bombed London area led to a search, resulting in the discovery of a buried family. The man was dead. His wife and child were sent to hospital.
A similar incident occurred in a provincial town. When a bomb threw debris over a shelter a woman’s dog scratched at the opening and pulled his mistress to safetv.
