LADY GALWAY.

REGRET AT HER DEPARTURE. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, November 22. At the final meeting of the year of the (executive committee of the Lady Galway Patriotic Guild, the following resolution was passed : —“Members of the executive committee join in expressing sincere regret at your Excellency’s departure from New Zealand. We 'wish you a safe and happy return, to your home. Your many kindnesses and interest in the work of the guild will long be remembered by all. The executive wishes to thank you sincerely for the opportunity giw?n them and various groups of women for service for the relief of distress of our people in the Homeland.”

A report was received that 609 tons (cubic measurement) of clothing, etc., had been dispatched from all parts of New Zealand, and appreciation of the efforts of tine women working for the guild had been received.
