THE WAR LOAN.
OVER SUBSCRIPTION INDICATED. (Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, November 7. An announcement that although iie had no precise figures, the information that he had received indicated that the war loan of £8,000,000 would be oversubscribed was made by the Minister for Finance (the Hon. W. Nash). He expressed pleasure at the response, and recalled that £7,500,000 had been* in sight when he announced the progress total recently.
