DEATHS IN YUGOSLAV CITY
LONDON, November 5
A Belgrade message says that three bombers, identified as vltalian aeroplanes, again raided Alonastir this afternoon after an earlier raid this morning. They dropped 100 bombs. ' Nine persons were killed and 31 wounded. The crowd was thrown into a panic and half the city’s population of 33,000 was quickly evacuated.
The Italian Consul at Alonastir telephoned his Legation at Belgrade, which replied that there would be no further bombing. Meanwhile it was officially stated in Belgrade that “further attacks would he met with all the means of our armed forces.” Police arc guarding the Italian Legation. Considerable material damage was caused bv the first raid.
