NAZI PLANES YESTERDAY.
BROUGHT DOWN IN RAIDS.
(Received This Day, 12.15 p.m.) LONDON, October 30.
Reports received up to 3.30 p.m. show that a number of small enemy formations crossed the south-east coast to-day without penetrating far inland, states a communique.
A few bombs were dropped, but thoye ■was little damage and few casualties.
It is now known that a total of 30 enemy aircraft wore destroyed yesterday, including two bombers destroyed last night.
