U.S. AIR BASES.
PROTECTION IN ALASKA. ARTILLERY AND INFANTRY. WASHINGTON, Junei 12. Secretary of War (Mr H. Woodring) announced that the United States would shortly send a force of field artillery and infantry to the anchorage to protect the army’s new Alaskan ajv bases.
