FRESH TROOPS
REINFORCEMENTS FOR ALLIES. POSITIONS ON SEINE FRONT. WEIGHT OF ATTACK ON PARIS. * (United Press Association .-—Copyright.) LONDON, June 13. An authorised report states that fresh British and French rcinforgements have taken up positions on the Seine front and are fighting under French orders. The German thrust toward Rouen seems to have slackened, but the great weight of the attack is now making toward Paris, and also southward toward the Marne. Although tlie Germans have readied the Marne at some points, the Allies are apparently holding'this attack. As far as can be ascertained, the Germans have engaged all their armoured forces. Their strength is estimated to be the maximum available. A French spokesman confirmed that the Germans reached Evreux Pacy yesterday, but apparently they have not gone any further. The French announced that all military targets had been removed*from Paris, constituting it an open town. It is believed this implies / that there will not be any street fighting, although the outskirts and approaches will be defended.
