SOVIET TRADE WITH GERMANY. HITLER SENDING EXPERTS. AMSTERDAM, January 1-. Dr. Ritter, leader of the German trade delegation to Russia, has returned to Berlin!- He is holding a conference with Herr Hitler and Field-Mar-shal Goering to work out a plan to replace the autumn trade agreement, which is abortive because Russia has been unable to keep up deliveries. Herr Hitler has agreed to send a large staff of economic experts and gineers to Russia to develop vifal industries.
The meagreness of Russia's aid <?an be realised from the situation of\fodder supplies, of which only 10 per cent, of the 1,000,000 tons promised in October has arrived.
Herr Hitler is reported to be insisting that the German engineers shall not be exploited for the Finnish invasion, thus preserving strict neutrality and appeasing Italy for Germany s interference with arms shipments to Finland.
