LONDON MERCANTILE. (United Press Association —Copy right.) (Received This Day, 9.5 a.m.) LONDON, December 1. The New: Zealand Loam' and Mercantile Agency Co. announces that preliminary figures show a not profit, after the transfer of £25,000 from the tax reserves, of £142,526. A dividend of 2 per cent, will bo declared. The amount brought in was £47,127 and tlie profit, loss interesjfc on debenture stock, £74,526, and the dividends on. preference and ordinary, dividends was £75,000. The amount carried forward avos £46,653. Tlie directors attribute the decline in profits to drought and unremuherative prices for Wool.
