WOMEN’S DIVISION.
THE METHVEN BRANCH.
The president (Mrs Holland) presided at the meeting of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union. Miss R. Robins (A.C.E. tutor) gave a lecture on anaemia.
It was decided to bold a garden party in December, and Mrs T. S. Harrison’s offer of her home and grounds at Drayton was accepted with thanks. Competitions resulted: Knitting, Mrs Jacobs 1, Mrs Rawliuson 2, Miss Fleming 3; collection pansies, Mrs Mangin 1, Miss Dalton 2 ; vegetables, Mrs Rawliuson 1; hen eggs (weight), Mrs Rawinson 1, Miss Fleming 2, Miss Dalton 3. Bloom, Mrs M. E. Holmes 1.
