WEDDING GIFT.
PRESENTATION TO GIRL GUIDE. A presentation of an electric table lamp was made to Miss 0. Spedding (captain of the Ist Company Ashburton Girl Guides) by Patrol Leader Lindsay Vincent, on behalf of the company, in honour of her marriage last Saturday. Miss, Spedding has boon an active guide for a number of years. After the presentation another patrol leader, Ethel Chapman, called for three cheers lor Miss Spedding. Those were lustily given .
At the wedding the patrol leaders, and seconds formed a guard of honour outside St. Stephen’s Church, an archway being formed with Morse signal flags.
