FRIENDLY SOCIETY.
MAYFIELD GIRLS’ MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Mayfield Girls’ Friendly Society was held yesterday afternoon when the president (Miss E. Goldsmith) presided over a good attendance. It was decided that meetings be resumed on the third Thursday iu April. An interesting letter was received from Miss R. .Andqrson, of the Woolston branch. Members played in a tennis tourney. The winners were Mrs R. W. Oakley and Miss Ruth Harrison. Afternoon team was enjoyed after tiie games.
