MAYFIELD ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Mayfield Women’s Christian Temperance Union was held yesterday afternoon, when the president (Mrs 13'. Edmond) presided over a fair attendance. The report and balance sheet showed a . good financial year, with a credit balance of LIG 12s Od. The president reported on the convention held in Timaru in September. It was decided to hold the annual Cradle lloil Party in February. It Avas resolved to send a spray oi flowers to 'Miss R.
