THREAT TO SHIPPING.
AIR ATTACKS FORESHADOWED. BEJILTN, November 15. The “Voelkischer Beobachtcr,” the chief organ of the Nazi Party, foreshadows the ose of aeroplanes against merchantmen, declaring that if merchantmen use guns, an aeroplane has the right to employ its own weapons. Aeroplanes had successfully attacked merchantmen in the Spanish war and could halt a vessel and force it to submit to search by naval craft.
