ANGRY CROWD.
BRITISH FASCISTS ATTACKED. SEVERAL PEOPLE INJURE?). LONDON, November 3. An angry crowd attacked Fascists in Manchester yesterday and several were injured. A man slashed at Sir Oswald Mosley, leader of the British Union of Fascists, with a stick as he was driving away in a car. Missiles wore thrown, and it is alleged that razor blades were used in scuffles. Two men and a woman were cut in the face and neck, and several people were injured by missiles. ■ j A meeting had been held by the Fascists in a kinema at Wilmslow (Manchester), and Sir Oswald Mosley was ono of the speakers.
The attack took place after the meeting, and the attempt to strike Sir Oswald was made as ho was driving away from the hack entrance of the kinema. Buses which had convoyed Fascists to tho meeting were attacked by jeering and booing people, and several windows were smashed.
