Women’s Singles. Quarter Finals.
Miss Stammers (England) defeated Miss Jacobs (United States) 6-2, 6-2. Mdme. Sperling (Denmark) defeated Miss Hardwick (England) 6-4, 6-0. Miss Marble (United States) defeated Mdlle. Jedrzejowska (Poland) 6-1, 6-4. Mrs Fa by aii (United States) defeated Mdme. Mathieu (France) 6-4, 6-2.
Men’s Doubles. Third Round.
< Borotro and Brugnon (France) defeated Collins and Tinkler (England), 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4. , Mitic and Puncec (Yugoslavia) defeated D. C. Coombe and E. C. Malfroy (New Zealand), 7-9, 4-6, 6-4, 6-0, 6-4.
