LATE GENERAL SIR E. CHAYTOR.
(Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, This Day,
A memorial service to the late MajorGeneral Sir EdAvard Chaytor Avas held at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul this morning. Among those present AA r ere the Minister of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones), Chief of the General Staff, and represent, at tecs of the military generally, Navy,, Air Force, Returned Soldiers’ Association, South African veterans and Nelson College Old Boys Association.
Canon Davies conducted the service, and the address Avas given by tho Rev. C. H. Isaacson, Avho served as chaplain under General Chaytor.
