Questioned at the conclusion of his Frankton address on Russia last week on the religious situation in the Soviet Union, T. McGilliCk stated that when he visited the Union last year there were 40 churches in Moscow and the same number in Leningrad, representing all denominations from the Ga’eek Orfhdox Church to Mohammedan mosques. All the churches were open and functioning while he was there.
