At informal meetings between the British and Jewish representatives during the week-end the Jewish memorandum in reply .to the British suggestions was discussed. The newspapers state that the reply contains counter-proposals, and asks for an assurance that full safeguards will be given in the British plan for the future development of the Jewish National Home.—British Official Wireless.
