THE MECCANO CLUB.
OSBORNE CUP CONTEST. At the fortnightly meeting , of the Ashburton Meccano Club on Saturday evening, Mr C. H. Taylor presided over an attendance of 25 members. Twelve models Avere displayed for the Osborne Cup contest, Avhich resulted: — Juniors: W. Miller 1, E. Cameron 2, E. Fahey 3. Seniors: B. Furbv 1, C. Fitzgerald 2, T. Taylor 3. _ The organised games resulted:—C. Fitzgerald 1, L. Macdonnell 2, E. Fahey 3. 7 Some amendments to the rules of the inter-club shield competition AA’ere discussed. At the next meeting the fretwork section will commence its activities lor the current year.
