ACCIDENTS & DEATHS.
CHILD FATALLY INJURED. CHRISTCHURCH, March 12. Elizabeth Shore, the two-year-old daughter of Mr and Mrs E. T. Shore/ of Kaiapoi, suffered injuries which proved fatal when she fell out of a motor-car driven by her father. Mr Shore was returning to his home with his infant soli in the front seat of the car and the oilier child in the back. About- six miles from Christchurch along" the Marshland Road: the back door of the car swung open and the child fell out on to the road. A doctor was called and at first it was thought that the child was not seriously injured, but she was later sent to the Christchurch Hospital, where an opera- , tion was performed. She later died.
