ITALY EXPELS THOUSANDS. I • SUFFERINGS ON W r AY TO FRANCE. (United Press Association—Copyright.) PARIS, March 12. A telegram from Nice states that thousands of Jfewish men, women and children whom the Fascist militia has expelled from Italy en masse are wandering along the Alpine passes to France, suffering cold and hunger. The French authorities at Mentone housed 200, and 1500 reached Monte Carlo. Many were admitted to hospital. TREATED AS CRIMINALS. NAZIS’ LATEST ACTION. BERLIN, March 12. Jews expelled from military service by the Black Guards are being placed in the same category as criminals.
