FLYING-BOAT HOLED.
STRIKES A SUBMERGED OBJECT. ACCIDENT WHILE ALIGHTING. (United Press Association-—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) BATAVIA, March 12. Tlio flying-boat- Capella when approaching the mooring buoy, struck a submerged object and was holed and began; leaking badly. The passengers find baggage were removed in a boat and the Capella was beached, partly submerged. The mails and passengers are continuing to Europe on the normal schedule. A relief ’plane flown from Singapore making a night landing •at Singapore and Penang to catch up time.
