CONFIDENCE IN THE LEADER.
VOTE PASSED UNANIMOUSLY. (Per Press Association.) AVELLINGTON, Nov. 24. A unanimous vote of appreciation of the Hon. Adam Hamilton’s services as Leader of the Opposition, and confidence in him as leader, was passed today at the conclusion of the caucus of the Parliamentary members of the National Party.
Air Hamilton said in an interview that there had been a full discussion of policy and of the present economic situation, and the proceedings throughout had been particularly harmonious.
“AA'e realise that the Government in office lias its problems, and that they will be Bandied. AA’e will carry out what is expected of us as the Opposition, and will help to maintain the sound government of the country.”
